Meet Josh

Josh’s Life of Service 

A graduate of Georgia State University, Josh chose to make Johns Creek and District 48 his home and has built deep roots in North Fulton County, where he has lived for over two decades with his family. An entrepreneur and small business owner in Fulton and Gwinnett County, Josh owns and operates successful businesses including his insurance agency that is focused on providing insurance to small businesses and companies. Josh has offered policy expertise on issues related to consumer protection in the insurance industry and how to make insurance more affordable and accessible for everyone in Georgia including addressing the continually rising costs of health insurance.

Josh has been happily married to his wife Farzana for 27 years, and raised two children who attended Fulton County Public Schools. In addition to his work as a small business owner and entrepreneur, Josh has been active in the community, He is the former executive secretary of the Asian-Pacific American Council of Georgia, a former president of the North Gwinnett Rotary Club, a volunteer at his local food bank. Josh is also the President of the Bangladeshi American Association of Georgia and a Board Member with the Bangladeshi American Chamber of Commerce, where he works to promote global trade opportunities for Georgia businesses and advocating for policies that will help create stronger, vibrant communities.
